We started by independently coming up with short storyboards and ideas that focused primarily around an elf character so that i could do character animation practice as i was to be given the role of character animator. The character design was to be left up to Beth and Mary worked on any assets we needed to have done.
We used one of Mary's boards, the switching the christmas lights on and one of mine the pulling a christmas tree out. We wanted to use the hole in the lifting tower building so it didn't seem like there was something missing from the animation so we worked around the gap.
