To try and get a better understanding of Lizards and how they look i did some sketches of photos but id like to do some direct, primary observations so i will either try and go to a zoo or museum in the near future.
I don't feel it helped me very much as they don't really exude the same grandeur as dragons from myth do but it gives me a rough idea. I think that once i see some real or models i can get a better scope of the shapes of lizards.
I dont really like how thy have low bellies because dragons, specifically western dragons looking much more powerful and seem as if they're ready to pounce so maybe a design closer to tat of a cat or dog in leg shape?
