Sequence, Series, Set - Watchman

This is a good example of how one piece of sequential imagery can be used to be turned into something else. For watchmen they took direct inspiration from the comic book which led on to the inspiration for the storyboard which led to the movie. I really like how simple the illustrations are but they explain what happens in the storyboard and the plot, they also use different angles in comparison to the source material showing that the sequential imagery can evolve with time.
