Environmental Storytelling - Photos

When i visited each place i took as many photos as i could of different angles so hat i could get good reference material for later on to work with my drawings. Most of the photos have the same angle as the drawings as they were taken after having done the drawings in the same spot.

Almost all the Victoria Quarter photos have the same theme of a single vanishing point making very simple compositions, but this is good practice for me to look at simple perspective where everything comes to one point instead of focusing on details.

The library had a little bit more variety as i could get photos from above and below because of the balconies. This allowed different perspectives and more interesting compositions but it brings to attention the amount of books and detail that was present in the library.
The woods photos were the most helpful as i was unable to get many detailed drawings while i was there. The photos have really vague horizon lines and vanishing points meaning i couldn't grasp the depth of the woods. the photos of the bridge has the best perspective and depth of feel to it.
