As well as reading the book i decided to watch the film that got based off the book. It was a live action movie which did terribly at the box office. The CGI is painful to look at for its time and its acting didn't help. however it was a good way for me to remind myself of the events and characters of the story much faster than i can with the book which i am still reading for proper descriptions of the characters as the film wasn't very true to the original book, a lot of changes in description of characters as well as events having been removed or happened a lot sooner in the film than in the series so if i want to get accuracy i need to continue reading the book. I want to avoid having these designs influence the designs of my characters but if they are accurate then there might be similarities.
